Professional support, with a human approach
Meet Your Counsellor
FOR YOU counselling is provided by Andrea Brazier, a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Her approach is warm, non-judgemental and centred around listening, so each conversation feels like a space where you can be yourself, take your time and talk about whatever matters to you.
Meet Andrea
A counsellor who listens
Hi, I’m Andrea Brazier.
I’m a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent around 30 years working in HR and people-focused roles. Over that time, I supported people through many different stages of life, from career changes and workplace pressures to relationships, bereavement, family responsibilities and major life transitions.
Those experiences eventually led me to counselling training, where I learned something that has completely changed the way I listen to people: everyone experiences life differently.
For me, counselling is not about giving advice, telling someone what they should do or trying to “fix” them.
🩷 You are the expert on your own life.
My role is to listen, empathise and provide a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever matters to you, at your own pace.
You lead the conversation. I’m there to listen and help you feel heard.

Andrea brings together around 30 years of experience working with people and more than 150 supervised client counselling hours, alongside around two years of counselling experience with adult clients.
Her background in HR and people-focused roles has meant supporting people through many different stages of life, from career changes and workplace pressures to relationships, bereavement, family responsibilities and significant personal transitions.
That experience has given her a broad understanding of the kinds of challenges people can face, both at work and in their personal lives, and how different those experiences can feel from one person to the next.
Her counselling work has included face-to-face, online and telephone sessions across voluntary and private services, supporting adults with a wide range of concerns.

Someone you can talk to
Counselling you can feel confident in
Counselling can sometimes feel intimidating before you have tried it.
You might be dealing with anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties or a challenging period in your life. Or you might simply have something on your mind that you would like to say out loud to somebody impartial.
There is no right or wrong reason to talk and no problem that is “too small”.
The aim is for every conversation to feel comfortable, respectful, unhurried and free from judgement.
Nothing has to be wrong. Sometimes it’s just good to talk.
