Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 25 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases of FOR YOU counselling gifts, physical gift boxes and other products or services through timespaceyou.co.uk.
By placing an order, the purchaser agrees to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing within these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
1. About FOR YOU
FOR YOU is operated by Andrea Brazier, a sole trader.

2. FOR YOU Counselling Gifts
FOR YOU offers gifts providing confidential online counselling conversations with a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor.
Current gift options are:
1 Conversation - £35
3 Conversations - £90
6 Conversations - £175
Each counselling conversation lasts approximately 50 minutes.
Counselling is currently available to adults aged 18+ throughout the UK and takes place online.
An optional physical FOR YOU gift box may also be available with counselling gifts.
3. Person-Centred Counselling
FOR YOU counselling uses a Person-Centred approach.
The recipient leads the conversation and decides what they would like to talk about. There is no requirement to arrive with a particular problem, agenda or idea of what they should say.
The counsellor's role is not to tell somebody what to do or make decisions for them, but to provide an empathetic, confidential and non-judgemental space in which they can explore whatever matters to them.
FOR YOU counselling is not a substitute for emergency, crisis or specialist services.
4. Suitability for Counselling
Receiving a FOR YOU gift does not guarantee that counselling through FOR YOU will be appropriate for every recipient.
Before counselling begins, reasonable steps will be taken to establish whether the service is suitable for the recipient's individual circumstances and needs.
Where needs fall outside the counsellor's professional competence or would be better supported by another counsellor, specialist organisation or service, this will be discussed sensitively and, where appropriate, the recipient will be signposted or referred to more suitable support.
The same may apply if this becomes apparent after counselling has begun.
If, before counselling begins, FOR YOU determines that the service is not appropriate for the recipient, the purchaser will be offered an appropriate refund of the unused counselling element.
Where a physical gift box has already been supplied, this does not automatically entitle the purchaser to a refund for the physical goods, subject to their applicable statutory rights.
No confidential information about the recipient will be disclosed to the purchaser as part of this process.
5. Confidentiality
Counselling conversations are confidential.
Where another person has purchased the counselling as a gift, the purchaser is not entitled to know what is discussed during the recipient's counselling conversations.
Once counselling begins, the counselling relationship is between the recipient/client and the counsellor.
Confidentiality is subject to the usual professional, ethical, safeguarding and legal limits. These will be explained to the recipient as part of the counselling agreement before counselling begins.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the FOR YOU Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection requirements.
6. Counselling Records
Appropriate client and counselling records will be maintained as part of professional counselling practice.
Only information that is necessary and relevant to the counselling relationship will be recorded. Records will be treated as confidential, stored securely and protected from unauthorised access.
Counselling records will normally be retained for five years from the date of treatment, in accordance with applicable professional and insurance requirements.
Once the relevant retention period has expired and the records are no longer required for a legitimate professional, legal or insurance purpose, they will be securely destroyed.
Further information is provided within the FOR YOU Privacy Policy and counselling agreement.
7. Gift Codes and Validity
Each counselling gift will be assigned a unique FOR YOU gift code.
Recipients use this code when they are ready to arrange their first conversation.
Gift codes must be activated within 12 months of the date of issue.
Before activation, the purchaser may request a change to the named recipient, subject to reasonable verification.
Once a gift has been activated or the recipient has attended their first counselling conversation, it becomes personal to that recipient and cannot then be transferred to or shared with another person.
Gift codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash outside any applicable statutory cancellation or refund rights.
8. Three and Six Conversation Gifts
Recipients of 3 and 6 Conversation gifts do not need to complete all their conversations within the 12-month activation period.
The gift must be activated within 12 months of issue.
Once counselling has begun, remaining conversations can be arranged at an appropriate pace, subject to appointment availability and the agreed counselling arrangements.
9. Continuing Counselling
There is no obligation to continue counselling after the gifted conversations have been used.
If a recipient chooses to continue, they may purchase further self-funded counselling conversations at the price applicable at that time.
The decision to continue is entirely the recipient's choice and is independent of the person who originally purchased the gift.
10. Purchasing a Gift for Somebody Else
The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate recipient information.
FOR YOU counselling gifts are intended to provide somebody with the opportunity to have time and space to talk if and when they choose.
Receiving a gift should not be interpreted as a diagnosis, as suggesting there is something "wrong" with the recipient, or as implying that they require treatment.
11. Personal Messages
Where available, purchasers may include a personal message with their gift.
FOR YOU reserves the right not to reproduce material that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate.
12. Physical Gift Boxes
Physical FOR YOU gift boxes are currently available for UK delivery only.
The contents of the gift box will be described on the website.
Where an individual item becomes unavailable, FOR YOU may substitute it with an appropriate alternative of a similar nature and reasonable quality.
Applicable delivery charges will be displayed before purchase.
Physical gift boxes will usually be dispatched within 2-3 working days.
13. Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Gift boxes are sent directly to the named recipient.
Delivery dates are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside FOR YOU's reasonable control.
If an order does not arrive as expected, please contact:
hello@timespaceyou.co.uk
14. Digital Counselling Gifts
Where counselling is purchased without the physical gift box, the recipient will normally receive a FOR YOU digital gift containing:
- their unique gift code
- the number of conversations gifted
- the purchaser's personal message, where provided
- instructions explaining how to arrange their first conversation
Digital-only gifts will normally be processed within one working day.
The purchaser is responsible for providing the correct recipient email address.
15. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling.
VAT will be included where applicable.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. FOR YOU does not store customers' complete payment-card details.
16. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
Customers purchasing online retain their applicable statutory cancellation and refund rights. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict those rights.
Counselling gifts
A purchaser will normally have the right to cancel a counselling gift purchase within 14 days of the contract being made.
Counselling conversations will not commence until the applicable 14-day cancellation period following purchase has expired.
A recipient may activate their FOR YOU gift during this period and arrange their first conversation, but the counselling appointment will be scheduled to take place after the cancellation period has ended.
Physical gift boxes
Where a physical FOR YOU gift box is purchased online, the customer will normally have the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to any applicable statutory exceptions.
Following cancellation, goods should normally be returned within 14 days.
Unless an exception applies, FOR YOU will refund the price paid together with the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered.
The customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where this has been explained before purchase.
Where permitted by law, an appropriate deduction may be made where goods have been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods
These cancellation rights are separate from the customer's statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
If there is a problem with an order, please contact:
hello@timespaceyou.co.uk
as soon as reasonably possible.
17. Cancelling or Rearranging Counselling Appointments
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a counselling conversation.
Where at least 24 hours' notice is provided, the conversation can normally be rearranged without affecting the number of conversations remaining.
Where less than 24 hours' notice is provided, or the recipient does not attend the scheduled appointment, one conversation will normally be recorded as used and deducted from the number remaining.
FOR YOU understands that unexpected circumstances can arise and exceptional circumstances may be considered at the counsellor's discretion.
18. Safeguarding and Specialist Support
Counselling is provided within the counsellor's professional competence and in accordance with the applicable BACP Ethical Framework.
Where appropriate, alternative or specialist support may be discussed and the recipient may be signposted or referred to another service.
There may also be circumstances involving safeguarding, serious risk of harm or legal obligations where confidentiality cannot be maintained in the usual way. These limits will be explained within the counselling agreement.
19. Professional Standards
Counselling is provided by Andrea Brazier, a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Counselling practice is conducted in accordance with the applicable BACP Ethical Framework and includes regular clinical supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.
Andrea also holds appropriate professional insurance and a current DBS check.
20. Complaints
If you have a complaint about FOR YOU, please contact:
hello@timespaceyou.co.uk
Complaints will be acknowledged and dealt with as promptly and fairly as reasonably possible.
Complaints relating specifically to professional counselling practice will also be handled in accordance with applicable professional requirements and procedures.
21. Website and Product Information
Reasonable care is taken to ensure information on the website is accurate and up to date.
Product appearance and colours may vary slightly from photographs due to differences in screens, materials and printing processes.
22. Intellectual Property
The FOR YOU name, logo, branding, artwork, written content and other original materials belong to FOR YOU or are used with appropriate permission.
They must not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without prior permission.
23. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the FOR YOU Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection requirements.
Only information reasonably required to provide the service, fulfil orders, maintain appropriate professional records and meet legal or professional obligations will be collected and retained.
Counselling information will be treated with particular care and confidentiality.
24. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
The version applying to an order will normally be the version in force when the order was placed, unless a change is required by law or subsequently agreed with the customer.
25. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights applying to customers elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
